Hi everyone. I'm traveling EWR - GRU in 8 days, decided to try the 25k miles + $500 for a guaranteed PP upgrade and to be included in the Polaris waitlist (first time doing this)

I have absolutely no status with united and don't have their credit card, but timing and current position (the beta waitlist feature on the app currently places me #1 with 9+ open seats) makes me hopeful the Polaris upgrade might clear.

What do you think of the chances of it actually clearing?
