Yes, I heard the words "EVACUATE" spoken clearly multiple times as a direct order to everyone. I saw one crew member rip a carry on off a passenger about to go down a slide screaming "NO BAGS", but many rollaboards were still brought along regardless. The only detail I would add is the amount of time between the violent braking/stop and the order to evacuate. It was several minutes, or at least it felt so, that we sat there waiting for any communication. All I remember being announced during that time was instructions for crews to remain at their stations, and a reminder of that same instruction a couple of minutes later (I could see one of them walking about in the business class galley/area, which was surprising).

The time they took sounds excessive.
Concerning the crew member walking around: Could be in response to instructions by the cockpit crew to look out a window and check for fire, smoke etc. -- wouldn't be too unusual, as row one doesn't have a rear view mirror.
