Generally speaking I find baggage reclaim at LHR T5 terrible. As someone suggested upthread, it often seems like the baggage handlers are constantly surprised that planes are landing.

But... on my last flight our three bags were in the first five bags to appear on the belt (after 40 minutes of waiting, but I'm trying to point at the silver lining, ok?).

So that's all my T5 tombola luck used up for the next decade or so.
