I cannot really speak with confidence about the landscaping issue specifically, since it has been about three months since I was last there. I agree about going beyond my expectations as far as a lovely room and staff...everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. We couldn't hear the construction but I was told it was going to be a water park.
No big issue with landscaping other than I personally prefer more color and flowers and this was a bit drab looking. Just my taste but not a problem.
10am check out time is ridiculous though. I was able to get an extension after some begging. And the property was not full.
