Hi there,

well i suppose that yes my dad was partially negligent. But was it any excuse to show disdain and giving "rude looks" to customers.

Its not just the phone call but rather the way we were both treated. To be treated rudely and then made to feel like a criminal even though you were nice to the staff certainly does sound like something isn't right?

This isn't the first time i had this treatment from HI and IC staff. I really though of giving the chain a second chance after the terrible and shocking treatment of non-recognition of Ambassador status at IC sydney. No room upgrades. worst room assignment just because i was an Ambassador.Mind you, i was nice to the staff at check-in at both Holiday-Inn and IC sydney.

So again, i ask, how much rudeness will any frequent flyer take before a complaint a warranted. The question that also needs to ask in our community is whether discrimination does occur in Hi chain of properties and whether not joining the loyalthy programme would mean better service. I have on many occasions seen PC club members being treated worse than non-PC members. I have also seen many HI and ICs practising Racial Profiling.

I hope the moderators will alow this thread to continue. It is a reasonable question and will benefit other Flyertalkers. If HI and IC chains practise racial profiling, then honestly, im sure it warrants a boycott.

Thanks
