Thanks for all these helpful comments about the kids.

If Shangri-la has a kid's club, it'd be a winner. Great views, good pool, and good location on the river. Low priced entry room if we decide to bring the nanny. Thanks for the tip about the other kempinski.

With all these rave reviews of MO's kids club, perhaps I'll consider it for my next trip with the kids, assuming the Langham isn't suitable then. There is a lot of discussion about the dress code; perhaps it's a bit more lax these days. While I'm fine with restaurants having strict dress codes, it's not great to be made to feel unwelcome if I'm trying to go back to my room in the early evening after a long day out in the 40 C heat. At other properties, it wouldn't be a factor.

I'm sure. Without kids, it wouldn't even be considered. I'm now coming from SIN, so less opportunity cost there.

Even the best would be a terrible experience if the little ones aren't happy. They had a really great time at the Movenpick Khao Yai - the only way it can be mentioned in this forum. Although, my eldest still mentions the Raffles. Butler bribed them every day.

Sukhothai - From my past research, the Sukhothai club only, correct?
