AAgents, even EXP Agents, are horrible sources of specifics about seating. Not because they are dumb or anything like that, but they are only as good as the information they are provided. Seat 6A is a window seat and looks to all the world as being no different from the other rows. The AAgent would not know there was no window there (unless from personal experience), abd would simply look to the seating chart for the information.
The bottom line is that when strapped-in to your seat (the times when I, at least, most want to look out the window), you will not have a view of anything but a wall.
