I think it may be awhile for them to sort it out. I suspect the staff is mainly all ex ES employees and they're hard wired to do it to whatever Hilton ES standards are. Hyatt Regency standards are new to them and training may or may not stick. Especially when it comes to the elite tiers. This will definitely be a work in progress with the soft product.

As for the elevators, this is a known structural issue. It's been complained about for years. My neighbor stayed last summer and had the same complaint.

To get insight on the hard and soft product, just read the TripAdvisor or Hilton forum for the ES. Should be pretty much the same given the cutover was practically overnight.

I reached out to MHC and was informed that parking is free for Globalist on award stays and there is no lounge (not surprising given ES didn't), and breakfast is at the restaurant.

Hoping there's actually some renovation to bring it to Hyatt Regency level, as I don't consider Embassy Suites an equivalent.

Also, it's a bit of a mess with the prior life being an ES, as basically most of the rooms are suites, and very similar. So the standard and premium suites are all over the place. The primary advantage of a standard room vs a standard suite appears to be more about the view of the waterfall more than an actual improvement in the room size itself (outside the ones not designated as suites).

Lots to sort out still.
