A free EF login will let you check seat maps - about 4x per day.
Anyway, apart from a possible delay and presenting a seat map (mentioned above), not seeing a seat map for a single PAX usually means that all seats usually available for QF WP/OWE are occupied BUT the front row is potentially availability from T-80.
It’s quite possible the flight is very full given a lot of Aussies have had to rebook (have been rebooked) to bypass the ME.
