I'm getting conflicting information from www.seatguru.com and the Ex Platinum desk about seat 6A on a 2 class 767.

I was just upgraded on an international flt from DFW to ZRH, and I would like a window seat if possible. Seatguru.com says 6A does not have a window, but the Ex Plat agent said that it does. Do any of the seasoned travelers out here know the real story?

Also, as a new Ex Plat this is the first time that I have upgraded with an eVIP. I was told that I would get a phone call to approve the transaction, but I never did. Is this common?
