CX used to say they will through-check bags to any interline partner on separate tickets. This is no longer the case.

My understanding is that CX will still through-check bags to any interline partner, so you will likely be fine, but CX is no longer making that guarantee on the website. In fact, the endnote "*Availability of through-check service depends on the agreement with Cathay Pacific and the connecting airline" suggests to me CX will still do it, or else why put it there?
Do make sure you really have at least 2 hours (not 1 hour and 55 minutes) of transit time, though, as the MCT is 2 hours. As Carfield noted,

What you cited is the IATCI agreement, not interline agreement. IATCI enables through check-in (printing boarding pass), which is not supported between CX and JX, but this is different from a baggage interline agreement. 2 airlines must have interline agreement to possibly have IATCI, but not the other way around.
