Is it normal for SK to charge DOUBLE for taxes and fees on redemptions or is it just an error?
I just booked a partner award and it displayed 145.07 CAD of fees the entire way, even until after check out and in e-ticket that it showed me the details of the following:

However, my card is charged exactly DOUBLE the amount at 290.14CAD, and nowhere does SK acknowledge that. Is this normal for them to adjust later or is this another "quirk" that violates so many consumer protection laws that it might as well be an SK signature product?

It is one thing to have horrendeous IT, but it is another thing for it to lead to straight up (un-intentional) fraud.
