Soft: there was no comparison. The crew were incredibly thorough and efficient. Meals came out straight away, and were cleared instantly. I think i counted 6 courses for the first meal today as well. Plus they have a book the cook option. Plus always someone on hand to see if i needed anything.

Hard: i probably prefer NZ V4. The EVA 777-300s are a bit aged, but it was still comfortable. I heard their 787 fleet have a much newer business product.
After all the whinging about NZs old coffin class, i do quite like the herringbone angle for the new V4s. With reverse herringbone (eg EVA 777), you are miles away from the actual window
