And given how awful and slow the "Hotel Hoppa" bus service is, it seems to me that it is now even faster to take the Heathrow Express to and from Paddington. Lots more expensive, but nicer. There is a Hilton at Paddington.

Heathrow is not a particularly user-friendly airport.
