Having recently asked a similar question, which eventually prompted me into doing some research (in addition to reading the helpful answers I got) I believe the situation is as follows:

(1) Technically, bmi points should not be earned
(2) That said, computers make mistakes and it's entirely possible that bmi miles will post (but there's obviously no redress if they don't, given (1) above)
(3) SK points should be earned
