Has anyone had any luck with getting upgraded at the Palazzio from a standard suite to something nicer like the Grand One Bedroom king suite? Better view or higher floor seems more likely. I think I’ve got this as dialed in as possible. I canceled one of the Hyatt suite reservations and rebooked it through Amex FHR. That should get us two free breakfasts (for the three of us), a $100 property credit, a potential upgrade, and early/late checkout. Since only one Hyatt reservation earns qualifying nights, there was no real benefit to keeping the second one. From what I’ve read, the FHR upgrade probably won’t be anything dramatic—more likely a higher floor or a better view—but you never know, it could be a nice surprise.
