agree with sc001; it may be "legal" for MCT, but it's right up against the edge of "Sensible Connecting Time"

how much did the schedule actually change from the original booking? if over an hour, the list of options probably grows (also, highly unlikely that AS upgauged YYC to a mainline jet, but that would entitle OP to a change to pretty much any reasonable alternative)

other considerations when cussing and discussing alternatives:
  • Y or J?
  • revenue or award ticket?
  • one PNR or two?
  • booked thru AS or BA?
