I suppose you paid your tickets with cash? When I tried to rebook my Avios redemption flight, I was told they couldn't change the origin airport, but they could change the destination airport. In the end the only option I had was to refund since the origin airport was not being operated by QR on their current schedule.
I did mention above, but for my Avios ticket (QR base FFP on booking, not AA/OWE
), I needed to call/chat three times:
- First agent refused to reroute at all
- Second agent couldn't see any availability
- Third was willing to rebook SFO-DOH-CAI to ORD-DOH-CAI, I was responsible for getting to ORD
