The origin change is only slightly inconvenient, and the second segment moves us from JAL to Qsuites which should be a minor upgrade. The load factor looks quite empty on all segments right now.
I suppose you paid your tickets with cash? When I tried to rebook my Avios redemption flight, I was told they couldn't change the origin airport, but they could change the destination airport. In the end the only option I had was to refund since the origin airport was not being operated by QR on their current schedule.
