yeah, this is correct. the airlines have been
drowning in cost-insensitve travelers since covid, they've been driving away the elites who buy cheapo tickets and demand huge expensive perks, and they're still struggling to make money off of actually flying (this is good for society overall even if it's bad for airline CEOs and shareholders).
