Let’s be honest, catering high in the air is never going to be as good as on the ground. A restaurant will have chefs to prepare and cook your choice and the tastebuds will work better too.
But sometimes an aeroplane meal, even a simple one, really hits the mark. My favourite is this:
Bangers and mash MAD - LHR in J on an A380. I remember this dinner still whilst numerous other airborne culinary delights have gently faded.
