When our SoCal home was in Hermosa Beach, we often rode the bus to LAX. It took an hour and cost us seniors less than a dollar. We frequently took the bus.

Now that we have relocated to Villa Park in Orange county, the bus service to our closest airport, Orange County/John Wayne, takes nearly 2 hours and requires 3 or 4 bus transfers. To drive takes 20 minutes. Long Beach airport is worse. We drive and pay $25/day to park at LGB. The grass is not always greener.
