This eCoupon offer is a $25 discount coupon valid for one one-way travel segment on Acela - Acela Business or Acela First Class. Coupon expires one (1) year from date of issuance. No Blackout Dates. Tickets less than $25, forfeit the remaining amount as coupons are one-time use. Discount passenger types are permitted. Not valid for Travel Agency ticketing. Not combinable with any other discount offer. Seating is limited and may not be available on all trains, dates or departures. Fares, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. Subject to any restrictions, blackouts and refund rules that apply to the type of fare purchased.

A $450 one-way WAS-NYP Acela fare is absolutely not discount and that's what was showing with the coupon applied.
