I came across this thread by chance since my last year 30% seems to be ended last week and my account just reflected 67k loyalty yesterday … I didn’t not received the link to registered for the bonus … however go to AA’s app, click on “promotion” then one can registered for the 25% bonus.

I also found out “

• If the prior year's 20% Loyalty Point bonus is triggered retroactively while you're still receiving the current year's 25% Loyalty Point bonus then the highest bonus will prevail. The 20% Loyalty Point bonus will not be applied.
• If the prior year’s 30% Loyalty Point bonus is triggered retroactively during the 185-day period that you're receiving the current year’s 25% Loyalty Point bonus:
  • Your bonus will automatically increase from 25% to 30% on future purchases
  • The 185-day period will restart. You will not receive both bonuses at the same time.”
