You can do that if you want to, but it doesn't matter who the primary card holder is with regard to putting the primary guest name - you need to make each booking with the card that gets the Edit credit and put at least $250 charge per booking on the card (you can cover the rest with points if you like). Since I don't think you are personally staying in both rooms I would put the name of one of the guests staying in the other room on that reservation just because it will allow them the flexibility of checking in on their own without you being there.
