I've had some stellar service recently on UA in First and Business Class and learned that both of the FAs whom I was delighted by were ex-Pan Am flight attendants. How many Ex-Pan Am FAs are flying for UA these days? Has anyone else noticed their commitment to exceptional service? Both bemoaned the fact that so many of the "extra services" that they enjoyed doing have been dropped over the years by UA. After all, the carrier does have to cut someplace but these has taken their competitive edge away.
