Depends on the type of 777. I believe the IFE is linked to the engine and BA have some RR-powered and some GE-powered aircraft. My experience is that they are interchangeable on most routes (within each cabin setup), although I would think that on a premium route such as JFK, they would strive to use the larger IFE screen version.
