I have heard $USD5000 too, however don't really want to use AA as I won't be doing an transoceanic sectors with them so I will incur another $USD75 charge for changing the tickets - whilst it is not a large amount, I still would prefer not to have to do it. Also means I have to work out dummy routing which I am guessing will have to have more than 16 sectors as my real routing will have the maximum sectors.

Anyone done a dummy routing with less than 16 sectors and then changed it to their preferred routing which is over 16 sectors and managed to keep it e-ticketed?

Any assistance is much appreciated on this.
