So I checked into the hotel today on a GoH stay and was told that the property is now exempt from guaranteed 4pm late check-out. Apparently it is a new policy that went into effect today, 1 April 2026 (yes, yes, make your april fools jokes). I asked them whether it was mentioned anywhere online and they said no, but they were now a "selected property" (those words exactly) and as such did not need to honor the benefit.

update: contacted the globalist concierge, who contacted the hotel and managed to secure 4 p.m check-out. it shouldn't be this difficult though...
