Bread pudding in a fruit sauce; the croissant at top left was a pain au chocolat. The "Jetstream Dream" vanilla pudding was so syrupy sweet that I only had a few bites.

Neither flight featured a PDB or a hot towel service... which is funny because UA comped these flights to get me to LAX for the United Elevated event. As a journalist, I suppose I appreciated getting a reminder of how much an airline's soft product can vary right before getting a day-long sales pitch about UA's plans to improve its service.
