SEA-LHR - BA 52 - 30 March
While this flight departed in March, it appears to be the April rotation based on the 4/2026 notation in the bottom right of the menu and the new wines onboard. All in all a fine flight and great service from the very attentive crew; the main meal food was "solid", but the prearrival meal wasn't to my taste (low protein, cloyingly sweet in all three offerings).
The aforementioned British sparkling rose.
Pretty basic but I'm never angry at mozzarella and tomatoes as a starter.
The chicken was dry but otherwise I wasn't angry at the Mexican-inspired main. A crema or salsa would have made this dish complete though.
Yup, it's a dessert.
This prearrival meal was honestly pretty vile. Sweet on sweet on sweet; a chocolate chip muffin, a sweet chia pudding and a cloyingly sweet tomato jam on the "bacon butty" (really just two pieces of American-style streaky bacon on a stale Costco-style ciabatta roll). I barely ate any of this - fortunately the arrivals lounge exists as a safety school if the prearrival meal is bad going eastbound.
