AFAIK, the OP is ARRIVING at LHR, without stated ongoing connections, so the ruthlessness is actually BAA's or one of HM agencies, not sure which - no use of any LHR airline lounge regardless of status (unless he pays USD$35 to use the streetside arrivals lounge, as the OP is arriving in Y cabin.)

You have no chance whatsoever of getting into the BA/QF Lounges in T1 or T4 unless you are travelling F or J or have BA Gold Card or QF Chairman's Club (or whatever its called). They turn so many people away that they are quite ruthless. And no guests either!
