Stayed at the Carlisle Bay a year ago. Overhyped cr*p. Upgraded to an expensive room which lacked any character and functioned very inefficiently. Loud fridge next to the bed (flooded the room when I unplugged it !) and a large walk in shower that also flooded the room when used. Nice touches in toileteries, linens, DVD library and the like but still pretty poor as an overall experience.

Very sad beach and concerete pool area with no view at all. All topped off by a large swamp (yes I kid you not) at the rear of the hotel of which I had a perfect view from my bathroom.

Much, much, much too expensive for what it is.
