I was disappointed in the Gloucester when I stayed there in 1998. I had requested, booked, and paid extra for a deluxe and oversized room, since I was traveling with my 80-year-old father (the trip was a birthday present for him, including F class award tix) and while nicely appointed, the room was rather small. (Yes, I know, I've spent a lot of time in London hotels over the last 20 years, and they have smaller rooms than in the U.S., but even so.)
And the package included "Breakfast", but it turned out that did not mean "Full English Breakfast", but some coffee and rolls. Another disappointment, and it meant paying extra to have a decent breakfast.
Perhaps things have changed, but frankly I can't recommend the place, and the experience put me off the Millennium brand, as well. Not to mention that I'm totally over South Ken, as well, which was somewhat pleasant in the mid-'80s but is now full of tour groups and bad food.
