Really?!? I think Alaska chose the right path! I have spoken with my friends in Hawaii and they are very upset right now with all the changes that have happened. If AS dared to do what the OP suggested, I think it would push them over the edge. Honestly, one of the best things AS could do on Hawaii flights is introduce free meals like Hawaiian. It would actually make people happy, particularly since prices are up on Hawaii flights.
