I fly KUL/CGK-US multiple times a year and have always opted to fly NH on the TPAC segment, even if it means playing ORD-TYO The Room roulette.
Thanks for that confirmation. What does this mean “playing ORD-TYO The Room roulette”?

BTW when looking at biz class prices on NH, I looked at departing from NYC, and surprisingly, YYZ was cheaper. Of course, if you’re flying on OPM, that won’t matter. I was looking for a good fare to PER and this is what I found about 3 mths ago. (I chose YYZ-KUL and Air Asia got me to PER.)

YYZ-PER $10000
NYC-PER $9037
YYZ-SYD $8426
NYC-SYD $6677
YYZ-SIN $5133
NYC-CGK $5000
NYC-KUL $4500
YYZ-KUL $3470
YYZ-CGK $3500
