I will say, I kinda vaguely chased Marriott Lifetime Platinum status, and then focused on it when I got close. Useful, but during that span of time, it got pretty significantly devalued.

Hyatt LT Globalist is a lot harder to achieve, and I'm glad I never really aimed for it, because I think I'd be pretty disappointed at this point.

Of all of the LT statuses, I think only Delta has gotten more valuable over time.
