I often wonder why people want to be recognized. It isn't that big of a deal, there are "lots" of million milers. You also have to understand that recognition is random and best. Why feel slighted if you are not recognized?
Because it's just nice and fun, and kinda cool. And they didn't do it and it was sorta sad.
