I plan to fly on QF 28 (SCL to SYD) departing on 30 April 2026, this flight will be on Boeing 787. I have already selected seat 49A. I assume the Antarctic sea ice will be visible in the horizon (looking south instead of looking down).

I know seat 49A is misaligned, but will it actually hinder the viewing? Will the wing flex also obstruct my view?
