I’ve transported many bottles of wine and liquor, never had one break. I’ve gotten very good about wrapping them in dirty clothes to be well papped. Though I did have a jar of chutney open in my bag which resulted in some pretty bad stains.

Or you can do what my parents do. They purchased a bag just to carry wine bottles, it’s well padded and can carry 9 I think, but it’s rather large.
