The new "2 visits in 24 month" is easier than the old 3 visits in 6 months. If I understand it correctly, you can first apply on the third visit as two visits seems to count only after exiting on the second trip.

Anyway, unless if not holding passport from one of the reciprocal countries (Republic of Korea, Republic of Singapore, Federal Republic of Germany, Australia, Kingdom of Thailand) you still need to be member of a frequent flyer program that participates in the program.

So that begs the question - does Finnair participate?
They sure did in the old program, but IIRC it was impossible to get that officially confirmed. So has anyone recently signed up for the renewed HKG e-channel using AY+ card?
