I received my subscription guide in the mail for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's 2005/2006 season and was pleased to see that Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" was going to be featured four times this season. It was also interesting to note that one of the performances is being sponsored by United Airlines .
This work was last done in 1997 and it was outstanding. No ba$terdized version here! I am providing a link to the CSO if anyone is interested. I'm certainly not going to miss it.
