"Special handling required" error trying to transfer UR points to British Air
For the past month, I have not been able to transfer UR points to British Airways Club, which is frustrating given the current transfer bonus. For years transfers worked without a hitch. I tried a few workarounds suggested online, including designating my mobile number as my primary number and trying again. This has not worked after a couple of weeks. My UR is now unlinked from my Club number as though I never enrolled, and attempting to re-enroll just causes the "Special handling required" error to show up. It is not a name issue. The phone agents can't seem to help. Anyone encountered this and if so what was your fix?
