You’re not isolated. You have the Gili islands a 10 minute boat ride across the water that you can get lifts from arranged by local people - check the thread for suggestions.
There are other hotels around as well, and about an hour away is a city with everything.
I would strongly recommend spending time in the Gillis and getting a boat from the Sira beach. Whilst it’s not easy to reach the town it’s possible and I went almost everyday I was at the Sira.
Thanks for the reply. Isolated is all relative I suppose. I'm comparing this with The Laguna, another Luxury Collection property on Bali. There there are a few more hotels in the vicinity but also lots of local food and coffee places within a 10-15 minute walk away and even more options 10-15 minute taxi away.
The trade off is that the Laguna looks older and the rooms uninspiring whereas The Sira looks new and spectacular with some very nice rooms as NUA.
If you could also PM me your boat captain contact and perhaps what sort of fee was being charged for shuttles to the Gilis that would be much appreciated.
