You’re not isolated. You have the Gili islands a 10 minute boat ride across the water that you can get lifts from arranged by local people - check the thread for suggestions.

There are other hotels around as well, and about an hour away is a city with everything. Although that does require a taxi unless you rent a car.

I would strongly recommend spending time in the Gillis and getting a boat from the Sira beach. Whilst it’s not easy to reach the town it’s possible and I went almost everyday I was at the Sira.
