I will have to make sure my son signs up for this when he is home from college this weekend to reset his activity so his miles don't expire. I have been meaning to get him to sign up for the dining program and just make sure he eats at one of the 3 places in town that participates once a year or so. I usually just use miles when I take him with us. Caught a break on the one a year ago. We had a 4 hour maintenance delay that they gave us all a few miles for and it reset his date. I didn't even realize that until I asked him to look a couple weeks ago because I was afraid they would expire on his 23rd birthday next month.
