Pardon if this was answered before but since the thread is very long and I can’t find a definite answer on Cathay’s site, I would like to ask the following questions:
1. Other than gold and diamond tier, for green and silver members, do any status points roll over to 2027?
2. Is a person still able to claim missing Asia Miles after December 31, 2026 (within six months of departure date)? Will status points be credited to the account as well or no?
3. If a person is expected to obtain silver status in late 2027 (or any month in 2027), will the silver membership extend into 2028? If yes, for how many months?
1) will not rollover into 2027 for GR & SL - they will all expire on 31st Dec 2026
2) AM and SP will be credited as per flight departure date, not activity date
3) Each membership year in 2027 and beyond will be strictly from 1st Jan to 31st Dec of the same year - status earned will be valid until the end of the next year
