I had a Ponant number when I made my reservation- but had not matched status. You don’t have to wait until the status match to book. Though the Ponant match process was pretty quick.
Thank you so much for your insights.

I contacted my Ponant sales person who said she'd take care of the status match. We paid $17,620 for a Veranda Stateroom (815). I upgraded since I thought it might be our one and only cruise. It's on Deck 8, same as pool. This puts the rooms towards the rear of the ship which is something I read you might not want to do. Our rep said it shouldn't be a problem as we'll be there during the good weather of early September. Since you deal with seasickness (I don't know if either of us do) what's your thought about this? Is there a chance the price for this room will go down? Should I still try contacting Pavlus for help?
