What’s the NTSB going to say? It looks like there is only one layer of safety in this with just one controller?
Would the Jazz pilots know or realize that the fire truck was cleared to cross the runway as they were landing? Would the Truck know that an aircraft was cleared to land? I’m devastated that this has happened. The controller must be heartbroken as well as the families of the pilots.
