The one thing they should probably do is have people direct passengers to other transit points when the gate 36 one is busy.. Or install smart signage showing the where the other transit points are and the wait times there..
I transited with my kids in Feb and one of the workers did suggest we train it to the one near immigration, even though our onward gate was in the 40s and we were going to Pier F. He said it would probably still be faster to train down and train back then wait in the line at 35. I took his advice and there was no line at the other transfer point
